INDENTED CYLINDERS PRECISE LENGTH GRADING

Elica Indented Cylinders are a very efficient solution for seed, grain and other similar agricultural products. This separator is used for grading seeds by length and separating unusual by length seeds-unwanted long or short impurities.

The product passes from the inlet housing into the interior of the rotating cylinder, compound of two segments, covered with pocket shaped indents. The grains that embed themselves in the indents, will be lifted up and then due to gravity, will fall out of the pockets into the trough, and will be discharged by a screw conveyor to the outlet of the indented cylinder. All grains which are larger than the indents, will remain inside the rotating segment and be carried to the outlet where they will be emptied into the outlet casting.
